Deck the Halls…

25/12/2019

‘Tis the season. Timeout are getting into the Christmas spirit in the only way we know how… FUN, FUN and more FUN!

At Timeout, we have traditions that we like to keep alive over the festive period to ensure we make the merry day, as special as possible. One of which is our annual Deck the Hall’s competition.

What better way to increase the Christmas spirit across all of our homes than to have a Christmas decoration competition!

Each year, our CEO of the company, Janet Lumb, becomes her own version of Santa Claus and visits EVERY home associated with Timeout. Before arrival, each home has chance to decorate their household in whichever way they see fit. From Narnia themes to a human sized sit in sleigh, the creativity is endless. But, the whole reason of this is to give our children a chance to embrace the Christmas spirit and encourage their creative sides to make the best decorations you have ever seen!

However, although this is a fun based competition, it is important to highlight that this is a way to raise the festive spirit across all of our homes. A chance that we can include all of our company values into one fun filled activity. A chance for our children to gain rewards; and not just any rewards, they can be anything from days out, to helicopter experiences.  It’s a way that we can show our children that Christmas CAN be positive and can have that ‘family orientated’ feeling.

Congratulations to the joint winners of this years ‘Deck the Halls’, St. James and Shaw. The runners up were Ennerdale.
