Saturday 21st June, 30 incredible team members from Timeout Children’s Home rose to the challenge of the Total Warrior 6km course and absolutely conquered it. Under scorching heat and gruelling conditions, they pushed themselves through 15 fierce obstacles, each one testing their strength, determination, and teamwork. From icy plunges to muddy tunnels, our resilient crew gave their all.

It was messy. It was tough. And it was absolutely inspiring. I am so proud to be part of the Timeout Family!

Smashing Targets for Mental Health Support

Over the past year, Timeout Children’s Home has been on a fundraising mission to support Invictus Wellbeing, an organisation dedicated to providing free mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people across West Yorkshire.

The Total Warrior challenge marked a significant milestone in this effort, and we’re thrilled to share that our team has raised an incredible £3,386.25, surpassing their fundraising target! 🎉

What makes this achievement even more meaningful is the impact it will have. The funds raised will ensure that Invictus Wellbeing can continue its vital work, offering support to young people who need it most.

Here’s a big thank you to everyone who’s donated, supported, and cheered our team on along the way. Your generosity will make such a difference in young lives across the region.

The Power of Teamwork

The Total Warrior challenge was more than a fundraiser; it was a testament to the power of teamwork in the Timeout family. Each icy plunge and muddy crawl was tackled with the unwavering support of teammates.

At Timeout Children’s Home, we believe teamwork is at the heart of everything we do, and this event was a shining example of how we can achieve amazing things when we work together. When one team member struggled mostly myself!! others were there to lift them up (literally and figuratively!). It’s this spirit of unity and encouragement that fuels both our day-to-day work and our charity efforts.

Thankyou

Thanks to your determination, children and young people in West Yorkshire will continue to have access to the mental health and wellbeing support they need.

Special mention to Vicky, who organised the event and who wasn't everyone's best friend before the event but totally loved an respected afterwards. And to the lads Wayne, Raff and Daniel for getting us over those obstacles!

Once again, thank you to everyone who made this possible—from our tireless warriors to the generous supporters who helped us smash our target. Together, we’ve made a lasting difference.
