Start Your Year Right with Yoga Workshops at Timeout

Find Balance, Boost Energy, and Prioritise Your Wellbeing

At Timeout, we're committed to supporting the extraordinary people who make our company thrive. The new year is a perfect time to focus on health, wellness, and finding balance, and we're thrilled to announce a special opportunity for our hardworking team to do just that!

To kickstart the year on a positive note, we're inviting all employees to take part in a rejuvenating yoga workshop. Whether you're a yoga enthusiast or a complete beginner, these sessions are designed to inform, engage, and energise you – the perfect way to focus on what truly matters this year: your mind and body.

Why Yoga Should Be Your New Year’s Go-To

Yoga isn’t just a workout or a trendy wellness practice—it's a comprehensive approach to improving mental and physical health. Here are just a few reasons why yoga could transform your 2025:

1. Mental Clarity and Stress Relief

Modern work life is fast-paced and can leave us feeling overwhelmed. Yoga encourages mindful breathing and meditation, giving you tools to reduce stress, improve mental clarity, and create a peaceful mental space no matter how busy your day gets.

2. Physical Strength and Flexibility

From desk jobs to demanding physical roles, work affects our bodies in specific ways. Yoga is multifunctional—it builds flexibility and strength while supporting posture, helps with mobility, and can reduce physical tension.

3. Better Focus and Productivity at Work

Yoga fosters mindfulness, a mindset shown to improve concentration and workplace efficiency. A quick-flow yoga session could make the difference between a sluggish afternoon and a power-packed workday.

4. Accessible to Everyone

It doesn’t matter where you’re starting – yoga meets you where you are. The great thing about these workshops is that each session is tailored to suit all levels, allowing everyone to benefit.

What to Expect from Timeout’s Yoga Workshops

We're proud to partner with a qualified yoga professional who will lead two-hour workshops designed exclusively for our team. Here's what you can look forward to during your session:

Session Breakdown

  1. Discussion on the Health Benefits of Yoga

You'll start with an insightful talk about yoga's physical and mental health benefits. Learn how yoga can improve your wellbeing, both inside and outside of the workplace.

  1. Guided Yoga Class

Time to stretch, flow, and breathe! This beginner-friendly yoga class will teach essential poses and techniques to build your confidence and keep your body feeling fantastic. Bring workout clothes or something comfy – no judgment here, only positive vibes!

  1. Meditation for Relaxation

End on a high note with a calming guided meditation designed to relax your mind and ground your body. Perfect stress relief to carry into the weeks ahead.

We’ve organised workshops at two convenient locations so our entire team can enjoy this wellness experience:

  • Head Office – Tuesday, 11th February, in our brand-new training room.

Both locations were chosen with your comfort in mind, providing all the space and serenity you need to fully immerse yourself in the workshop.
